Chris,
I met you in WASHINGTON D.C on the 4th of July.
You drove to BALTIMORE twice a week just to kiss me.
I went back to NEW YORK CITY to pursue my dreams.
You took the train once a week so I could lay in your arms.
We got an apartment together in QUEENS.
I watched you surf in SYDNEY.
You held my hand across the Pacific on a trip home we'd never forget.
I had you teach me how to drive stick in CONNECTICUT.
You'll never do that again.
We went to see your family in MILWAUKEE and I knew I wanted that with you.
I biked through DENVER and imagined living together by the mountains one day.
You sat with me looking at the GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE, contemplating our next step.
I drink my morning coffee in SEATTLE, a place we both smile and call home.
You are my best friend, my love, my heart, and I am so grateful that I get to see this beautiful world with you.
