My long-time Siren friend is in town from Alaska. Her family is spread out across the States, so they agreed to meet up in Carnation, Washington at a gorgeous lake house rental. I drove out there for dinner the other night and the home was lovely indeed. The perfect place for family gatherings.
Now I'm dreaming of lake houses. They're so private and peaceful, aren't they?
