I finally got around to going through my wine country photos and wanted to share a few with you. Spring is such a beautiful time to visit. Everything was so green and lush. The weather was in the mid to high 70's and couldn't have been better.
The first day, Robin rented a limo and 9 of us went wine tasting at Summers, Duckhorn, and Peju. 7 wineries were on the itinerary, but we only made it to 3 - ha! The second day at the Sonoma Ranch house involved laying out by the pool, playing bocce ball, and getting ready for Robin's birthday bash that evening. Which I'm sorry to say, I don't remember much of, except for drinking more vino in our private wine cave, hot tubbing and dancing until the wee hours of the morning.
Epic weekend. Had my first taste of Dom. Got maybe 3 hours of sleep. And I think I'm done with wine for awhile. But it was so worth it and Robin had the perfect 'goodbye 20's' send-off. Happy birthday bestie! Um...can we go back every year? :)
