It's really strange hearing a song you wrote and recorded air on TV. This isn't the first time I've experienced it, but it still excites me to no end. Not to mention the check I'll receive in the mail in a few months!
Some of you asked me to post the clip, so if you'd like to hear my band, Lorelei's song, "Secrets" air on MTV's Taking The Stage, here is the episode. The song begins around 8:05 minutes in, so you might want to skip to that spot.
It begins very quietly underneath a dialogue where the boy asks the girl to be his girlfriend...how sweet. Then at the end, you'll just hear my vocals singing, "keep my secrets secret".
